How to Use:
To ensure optimal effectiveness of the mouthwash, follow these steps:
Brush Your Teeth
Before using the mouthwash, clean your teeth thoroughly with dental floss and then brush with toothpaste. If your toothpaste contains fluoride, wait a little before using the mouthwash, as the mouthwash may rinse away the concentrated fluoride.
Measure the Mouthwash
The typical recommended amount is 20 ml, or 10 ml for fluoride-containing versions. Always check the label for the exact recommended dosage.
Pour into Mouth Properly
Pour the correct amount into your mouth, hold your breath briefly, and close your mouth tightly. Do not swallow the mouthwash—it may contain chemicals that can cause serious digestive issues if ingested.
Swish and Gargle
Hold the mouthwash in your mouth for 30 seconds and gargle. If possible, extend this to 1 minute. Make sure to swirl it around all teeth, including the back ones. Don’t forget to rinse over and around the tongue. Gargle the back of your throat too, as odor-causing bacteria often reside there.
Spit It Out
After rinsing thoroughly, spit out the solution. Avoid eating or drinking for 30 minutes to 2 hours after use.
